Deadstock early 1960's black lace and ribbon Bill Blass for Maurice Rentner cocktail dress. Short sleeve fitted bodice with raised collar and a swing skirt finished with a narrow black patent belt. Fully lined with a slip style liner in nude silk like fabric. White and black ribbon overstitched on the black lace background creates a 3 dimensional effect. Scallop on the sleeve edge adds a touch of whimsy. In excellent condition, the belt has some signs of stiffening but is still working well. Fits like a US 2. The Halle Bros.
